Grant applications
The Trust primarily funds fieldwork and related research at Amarna. Preference is given to furthering existing permits to work at Amarna issued by the Supreme Council of Antiquities of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Applications are also accepted from individual researchers with projects centred on the site of Amarna. The award range is expected to be approximately £100 to £500 per project.
Applicants will be accepted from any nationality. There is no explicit requirement for a UK connection.
The Amarna Trust trustees meet twice per year, in July and December. Applications will be considered then and applicants notified by email within 30 days of the meeting.
